Last night I thought about how I can jump on the SEO and PPC bandwagon. I've done a little research and opened a Google AdSense account. Now I'm going to set up a mini 'theatre' search engine and links page for adverts to raise money for my own theatre company.

Firstly, what do you think? Any tips/advice/assurances?

Secondly, have you done it before? If so, what's the key to a good, effective and cute website that I can make a little money on?

I love the idea of a mini theatre search engine. When I lived in Devon we used to go to see a travelling theatre company every summer in a little village on the edge of the Dartmoor. It was such a beautiful setting with picnics and champagne, the kids loved it and it gave them an exciting yet informal introduction to the world of theatre. A central point of reference for all things theatre would be a valued resource, especially for people new to an area or new to theatre generally.

On the matter of SEO, I am following and affiliating with experts www.callowaygreen.com/blog. They are local to me, spot on in my opinion (free downloads are superb) and have mastered the art of providing cool blogging information for new or untechnical bloggers like me therefore highly recommended.

Good luck with your mission and keep me posted!

Thanks Sue, that's a great idea and one I hadn't considered at this point in time.

I will certainly look at that.

Thanks for your support.
